What's in it for me?

The Course Creator enables the development of consistently formatted and compliant assessments - a one-stop shop for the storage, development and management of the baseline set of unit assessment documents. These documents (known as the uDocs) include the:

  • Unit Assessment Guide (UAG)
  • Unit Assessment Map (UAM)
  • Unit Marking Guide (UMG)
  • Unit Feedback Sheet (UFB)

All staff first access the Course Creator as a Contributor. Click role functions below to learn about other Course Creator roles.

Role functions

Contributors Managers UCS Admin
Download and use assessments without having to create your own
Brand the documents with your brand logo
Enquire about the development of an assessment if it doesn't exist
Get access to related learning materials
Create assessments
Be involved in the development workflow (i.e. validate, undertake a quality review, perform a compliance check, etc.)
Take responsibility for the workflow and release units for use  
Allocate/assign 'owners' and teams to units and initiate the workflow  

Make decisions about and sets up Unique Course Services (UCS)

   
Allocate workflow to Managers
